The topic of immigration has become one of the more polarizing subjects in recent history, dividing the nation into two very distinct and vocal camps. North America has been a mixing pot since the first European explorers began settling in the New World. However, that brings up a kind of paradox.
If the founding fathers and those settlers before them were immigrants, then isn’t the whole of North America, not just the USA, an official candidate for the title of ‘The Land of Immigrants’?
Wilmer Valderrama thinks along those lines. It may have something to do with the fact that the Valderramas are a recent addition to the American fabric. Best known for his role as Fez on That 70’s Show, Valderrama has experienced American immigration first-hand. Looking around him, it’s actually difficult to find at least one person who hasn’t.
