There are many Americans alarmed right now, and I don’t say that based on any bullshit “polls”. I say that because everyone I know is literally terrified of what Trump is going to do next (unless said people are both male and white… they don’t seem to worried).
Even my mom is messaging me about the Womens March and her internal conflict of how to participate in ways she feels comfortable with.
While my mom struggles to find her voice, Hollywood is doing it up big with their political views. Kristie Alley may have been a Trump supporter, but rest be sured that fuck tons of liberals in the city of angels were not on her side.
One of those staunch supporters? One of the boldest voices from the DNC, comedian Sarah Silverman.
<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE❤❤❤❤ <a href=”https://t.co/Y2WZbL012A”>https://t.co/Y2WZbL012A</a></p>— Sarah Silverman (@SarahKSilverman) <a href=”https://twitter.com/SarahKSilverman/status/827013945697329152″>February 2, 2017</a></blockquote>
Sarah seemed to get this idea when a planned talk at the University of California-Berkeley by polarizing Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos was canceled Wednesday evening after protesters threw smoke bombs and flares at the student union building where he was scheduled to speak.
Sadly, Trump supporters have been quick to criticize Sarah and consider her comments treasonous… and even resorting to anti-Semitic rhetoric against the Jewish stand-up comedian.
