First we had amazing six-seater lilos, then inflatable trampolines and now we have this… an inflatable adventure playground from German inflatable company Wibit which is pretty much all our childhood dreams rolled into one.
From an inflatable see-saw, various climbing frames, slides, diving ledges AND trampolines for endless excitement, this set-up will exhaust you before you’re even able to enjoy the whole park.
This floating water park is the first of its kind for Lake Michigan and it’s coming to Whiting’s Whihala Beach this summer!
Wibit is investing $300,000 in the attraction, which is part of an ongoing effort by Whiting to attract more visitors to the beach, Mayor Joe Stahura said.
Young thrill seekers can expect to tackle inflatable hurdles, stepping stones, and balance beams to challenge their agility. It will also be featuring a ‘kids’ zone’ with facilities for six-to-14-year-olds.
The company has installed its brightly colored floating aquatic playgrounds all across Europe and all over the world, including in South America, Northern Africa, Cuba, Florida and along the Gulf Coast.
It’s going to be huge in size,” Stahura said. “It’ll be big enough to have 100 kids playing there at the same time. It’s going to be large in dimension.”
The new family attraction could be ready later this month, so start planning a family road trip! You won’t want to miss this.
