Rare Video Of Young Keith Urban Expertly Shredding His Guitar In Front Of Country Music Execs Will Blow Your Mind

Before Keith Urban hit it big in country music, he had to do what every other aspiring artist has to… hit the streets and make some noise showing off your talents! This long lost treasure shows one of today’s biggest country music superstars in his early years has surfaced and WOW is he talented!

While he’s recognized worldwide for his distinctive country sound and endless chart-topping country hits like “The Fighter”, “Somebody Like You”, and “Long Hot Summer” and dozens more.

But back in 1999, Urban was a fresh face in Nashville and was hitting the pavement in hopes of attracting new fans, potential managers and label executives.

The video was shot at the annual Country Radio Seminar nearly two decades ago, when he was only 32. Urban was the featured entertainment at a party being held at Spence Manor’s Webb Pierce Pool.

With his guitar in his hands and his talent in his soul, he flabbergasted all the influential folks from all across the country music industry who were surrounding the stage. Urban held everyone’s attention as he moved through this one-of-a-kind performance that proved he was a superstar in the making.

In the last half of the performance, Urban dropped jaws with an acoustic performance of his original song, “Shelby County Jail”.
